I got a triathalon team going. The biker took first in the Beaver dick bike race last semester and the runner is on the cross country team. I got them from Tara at the pool. She is trying to do it all herself too. So this team here will take first no worries. I have set a goal time of 10:30 for 900 yards.
The 6 x 100's were good. I was nailing 1:01 on average. I should find out soon about the swim team. Tonight I may be going to the temple. So tonights workout will be smaller. Here it is:

One of the guy swimmers is a new lifeguard and he worked today. It kind of made me mad because I see all these lifeguards who think they're bad because they're guards, when the patrons (such as myself) are in better shape than they are. I honestly am afraid that Zirker might not make me head guard next year. All I know is that I am going to get a 3.0 or higher to get out of fetchin probation and then get certified over the summer so he has no excuse. I won't work, unless I am head guard. Because it pays more, plus I don't want a weak sucker to be head guard.
I can't find a ride to the temple tonight. All the elders in this ward have priorities screwed up. I don't know anyone who wants to go out of their way to go to the temple. My only hope is that Bart comes home in the next few minutes and then we go. But I think he is getting his priorities screwed up like the rest of us.
Went to Craigo's to say good bye to Brandi. She is going back home because she is dropping out of school.
I paid $1.00 for one piece of pizza and was quite unsettled with that.

I met Anndee Shingleton from Castlerock, Colorado. She is up for the seekend with her friends mother to see her brother. She swam quick and I told her of next semesters swim team. By the way, I turned in the constitution and roster of officers at the ASRC office today. Brother Zirker says it is good what is happening. I wait for them to contact me to tell me if it is approved.
Anyhow I was talking to Anndee and she is coming her next fall and she has been swimming ever since she was 6. She swam pretty dang quick.
I found out that it is $8.00 to enter into the triathalon on April 9th. I called Don Leslie who is on the track team and he can't do the running because of a track meet down in Provo. So it looks like we won't take first afterall since all the runners are going to Provo. I guess I'll just do it with Sarah or maybe not, I don't know.
My knee didn't hurt one bit at the afternoon workout and I was really happy about that. I got in a terrible mood the last couple days because of it. But I am happy now because my ear no longer hurts ( I had a terrible ear ache) and my knee no longer is in pain. So I am thankful. It has been a pretty good day afterall.

I saw Sarah today, and we passed a few words to each other but we are very distant now, and I feel bad because of my attitude to her now. She started it though. That is no excuse, but we aren't even friends anymore it seems. It is really sad how a relationship can be so close and so distant within one month. I wasn't the one who made the rash decision to end it, she did. She began to close her door so I slammed it for her.

This was a good workout. There was hardly anyone in the pool to motivate me, but I motivated myself. The suicides were very hard, but the kicking right after that made my arms get back into the stretch mode for the 200's.
The ROTC fags were taking the pool till 6:30 so this was a late night workout. I swam from 6:30 to 8:30. I wanted to go see the fugitive tonight with a date, but it starts at 9:00 and it would be too late.
I am doing the triathalon with Jeremy and his friend. It is April 9th. His friend is 2nd in the nation for biking (so Jeremy says) and I know I'll kick butt in the swim which is 800 yards. Jeremy is a pretty good runner, so we should do well.
I have the dance competition in a couple days. Mom and Cara are coming up to see it and take me down to Pocatello to see Grandma and Grandpa. There came in today and are home now.

I was angry and went in the kitchen and it was a craphole as normal and I was having a frustrating day as it was and yelled out "Do your own fetchin dish!" Went into my room and Shawn comes in to mock and I was pissed. I pushed him out of the doorway and said "get the hell out of here!" I tried to go to bed and then Murray comes in and picks up my phone and says "What's her number?" I said "forget it, just let me sleep" After a minute of persisting to call her to let her have it, he left and I listened to Nine Inch Nails again. I have got to do something about this. Maybe I should trade Jaron back that CD. It makes me keep that anger in and it isn't good.
But this morning I felt a little better and went swimming at 6:00. It was crowded and then about 5 minutes after I got in I was the only one in the pool. I didn't have much energy because I had no food in me except for a pancake I just ate, but I can't derive energy from something like that in minutes so I only did 1400. I planned on swimming a mile straight but after 600 got a sideache.

So that was the last straw and I was the one to take it. I have a problem looking back and wondering what she is thinking, but I am getting very close to forgeting her. I called Emily Adams tonight to ask her out to see the Fugitive but she wasn't home. I left a message.

500 - 10 x 50's alternate free and fly on 1:00 and 2:00

500 - 10 x 50's fly kick on 1:15
200 - 2 x 100's fast (under 1:00)

I nearly gave up on the 100's but persisted thankfully. Sarah was lifeguarding and I tried not to show any attention to her. After she left she came back and swam for a bit with Kelly. Who also made me angry as she was telling me her reason for not playing cards yesterday was because she didn't know why I called her. To play cards you stupid wench! Not everything a guy asks has fetchin double meanings.
Sarah told me "Don't make yourself a stranger." Look who's talking. I said sorry and kept on swimming. I did the last 2 100's on :55.
Sarah asked me just before I got out if she could still do the dance competition this weekend with me. I said I don't know if we can get it down by then. I think she knows I'm pissed and that is good. I don't want to be rude but I don't want her to think she has me this time.
She asked me to call her tonight. I bet it will be a lengthy discussion about what is wrong.

I had a 3800 workout made up but only did this much because I was kind of tired from playing full court BB with the guys here. I played pretty good for an RM with not much playing time after the mission.
Also Sarah began working after the last 100 so I quit because I don't even want to swim in her presence anymore. She waved at me and I nodded and spit water in her direction when she wasn't looking. I got out when she wasn't looking either so I wouldn't have to return my kickboard and clock. Just left it all there for her to get herself.
I wanted to go to the dance so bad but couldn't think of anyone to go with so I watched Saturday night live in the lounge instead.

Gettin' Dogged

Today I swam at 3:00 because I was in the mood to do something physical. Sarah dogged me hard at 3:00. I asked her to the dance tonight but she said no because she was going with a bunch of friends. I guess I am not a friend. So I left and she told me to call her or come to swim while she was at work tomorrow.
Bull! It is over! I came home and ripped up her picture and all things that reminded me of her. I was extremely angry and started doing calisthenics to Nine Ince Nails but went swimming after 20 minutes of it.
I had planned on doing 100 x 25's fly but 1:00 is to much rest. Plus everyone was getting in my way so I felt content with 60 and left.
Shawn played racquetball with me since we were the only ones home this weekend. I was glad rather than stay at home and feel sad over Sarah's loss.

Ricks College Intramural Swim Meet
Ricks Intramural meet -
50 free - I wanted a :23 and got :23.66. I came in 3rd by a hair.
100 IM - I wanted a 1:10 and got 1:03.82. I came in 4th.
50 fly - :26. I got a :26.26 I took first in this event.
100 free - I wanted :49 and got :50.9. I came in first in this event.
200 free - I wanted a 1:55 and got a 1:55.61. I also came in first in this event.
There were 9 events and I swam 5. Taking first in three of those.
Bryan came in first overall as he swam every event. I came in 3rd overall which aint too bad seeing that I didn't even swim 4 events.
I am pleased with these times as they are all break my personal records.
Jaron, Shawn and Chris and Ryon and Tammi all came to support me. I am grateful for that. It means alot.
I also went to inservice today too because Zirker wanted me to join in on it. I saw him today to ask him if we could take off the swim suits to expose our speedos. He said it was up to Rydalch. Bryan did it anyways and none of the guards did anything about it, so I took mine off for the 100 and 200 free.

Today we swam probably 400 yards. We sprinted and did turns and talked about tomorrow and then went to the meeting where we found out that it is not going to be tomorrow but the next day.
I went shopping earlier and bought a trout. I ate it tonight and also some rice. I got plenty of carbohydrates. I am so psyched for Thursday. I swam a :52 100 free today w/o blocks.
