I signed up for all five freestyle events:
200 Free - Goal time: 2:15, Actual: 2:22.71*
1500 Free - Goal: Under 22:00 Actual: 21:47.08*
400 Free - Goal: 5:00, Actual: 5:21.69*
100 Free - Goal: 1:00, Actual: 1:03.56
50 Free - Goal: Under :30, Actual: :29.49
* New Utah Summer Games record for 35-39 Male Division
I was able to beat my goal on 2 out of 5 events. Couldn't expect to do as well as meets in the past since my training has not been up to par. Haven't been in the pool as often as I'd like. I think I'm spreading myself too thin with the bike training as well. And my running training? Almost non-existant. I took alot of video, although I'm not sure how much fun it would be to watch it. My stroke is too "bobbing". There is too much roll. I plan to swim early Monday morning. Then again on Thursday morning before we leave for Albion. So twice a week is the minimum and I'm at least getting that this week.
