I had the best dream. I dreamt that a million aliens landed on earth close to a cabin where Carl and I were vacationing. We had all sorts of firearms upon which we used to defend ourselves against these beasts. They were a cross between Kangaroos and Giant Toads and some were a cross between Rhinocerous and Tyranasarous Rex's. They were huge and we were having a bloodbath. It reminded me of a Sci-Fi movie. I woke up at 5:30 in the middle of a battle. I wanted to go back to sleep, but ended up getting up for the beloved swim this morning. The pool was hotter than normal today!

Yesterday was President's day so we took the kids to the Bubble to swim. They had alot of fun. Talk about Deja Vu with Isaac in the pool. It reminded me of the days with Austin at Deseret Gym when he was just a little thing. We had alot of fun and Lucy totally enjoyed it. Afterwards we went to McDonald's for dinner. The kids had fun in the playland and I was losing my temper because it was crowded as Hell and the place was a total mess. I talked Cathi into letting me take Austin to Lord of the Rings - Return of the King. Austin and I had a good time and he enjoyed the movie. This morning was very difficult to drive to SLC for a workout but I did it. Here it is:

I set the alarm 5 minutes early (5:25) and that was the perfect setting. That allowed me not to rush and make it here on time. I noticed the showers at Northwest are awesome. They are very warm and have good pressure. I came up with this workout spontaneously. I was expecting Elayna to have her turn, but she didn't have one. I'll bring one from now on and we can modify it as necessary. Tomorrow is going to be only about 1000 yard workout though to give Elayna a little break. Both of us have gone from no swimming whatsoever to a mile a day. She admitted its getting tempting to stay in bed. I bought a year pass to Northwest so that isn't an option for me. I hope she keeps going. I know I feel tons better during the day, especially with a little Orange Juice to keep my mind active. Otherwise I get fatigued at work.

Swimming with Elayna was fun. She was able to do this whole workout with me. I would have given up 1/2 way through the 4 x 100's if she wasn't with me. So I'm glad we are a team. This is a personal best as far as how far we have swam in a workout, since the Deseret Gym was destroyed. I feel like my lungs are already so much healthier. My arms are Jell-O though. I had to get up at 5:25 to get there in time. I was there early so tomorrow I will be getting up at 5:35 instead. Elayna will be coming up with the workout for tomorrow. I hope she doesn't get burned out with this. I'd like to get back into it. It also means I get home at a better time too because I go straight to work after this workout at Northwest. I'm at work at 7:30 which means I can play ping pong at lunch or lift for an hour and still get out of work by 4:30 so Cathi can run at 5.
