Yesterday I saw this article in the Guarian, a UK based media source. Well written I thought. Some of the ignorant comments annoy me though. Funny how so many people have such a strong opinion on a sport that they have no involvement or experience in whatsoever.
I also noticed that WOWSA's 2013 Open Water Offering of the year went to the International Ice Swimming Association.
This morning's swim was all about speed and tapering for Saturday. I'm pretty sore from the past two days of lifting. So today's my last day lifting for the week and then I'll do some short sprint sets tomorrow and Friday, and then hoping for a new PR or two on Saturday.
