This morning the water was too warm. I'm definitely not going to get acclimatized to cold water coming to Layton. Anyhow I did the typical:
1000 - Free (14:08)
1000 - 2 x 500's kicking
1000 - 10 x 100's pull drill on 1:30
600 - 16 x 25's sprint (odd fly, even free) on :40
100 - Windshield Wiper drill (kicking while skulling on stomach with face in)
300 - 3 x 100's free easy
4000 yards total
A guy a couple lanes down asked if I was doing Boise this weekend. I said not till next year. He said he's doing it and a little worried as it's his first half. He said he's excited to get it done with so his training can not take so much priority.
At the end of my pulling set I was bored and saw that the Surfers coach was giving them a new set of speed work so I joined them on the 16 x 25's and windshield wiper set then warmed down.
Tomorrow I need to bike to the pool so I can go directly to work from there.
