My ability to bilateral breathe over a distance more than 250 yards is diminishing. So I really need to spend more time in the pool. I can't say, Oh I'm riding 60 miles today that should give me enough aerobic exercise to not affect my swimming. It does. Nothing will get you better in shape for swimming, than swimming.
So with that said, I'm disappointed to say I'll only be swimming twice this week as we'll be on a family reunion for half this week. Here's today's swim:
1000 - 1000 Free (Bilateral first 250, alternate breathing sides every 25 from that point on)
1000 - 10 x 100's free on 1:30 (breath every stroke, alternate sides on 25)
500 - 5 x 50's (25 fly, 25 free), 5 x 50's (back, breast) on 1:15
500 - Hypoxic 50's on 1:15, 1:30 10 down to 1 breath per 50
1000 - 1000 free (same as warmup)
4000 yards total
